haizz so much drama on this forum. Some are angels and some are devils. But everyone wants to be part of baybeats. Who doesnt ? its the biggest music festival held annualy . But why all the drama?
Visa werent you just talking about the whole baybeats thing to me at the coffee shop that day?We allllllll should have a Kopi tiam talk. Dont get me wrong man, you still a buddy.
You know what guys, fellow hard Rockers , Metalist , striving metallicas and broken hearted baybeats friends and the knights of baybeats together with your mix feelings and surfaced oil patches of hope. Lets leave this forum for people who want to enjoy the event , people who want to find out more and for ppl to jump for joy. If you really want to voice up something start a new thread. like Baybeats , What do you think of this event? In short lets not destroy and make their thread worthless.
It would be a healthy way of doing things. lets not be politicians. I'll start the thread you guys can spill your feelings. Pink Box will def view it , You will get the sattisfaction of blowing the smoke out , Maybe a big ass company will see it and say. Hey lets actually do some thing for the real rockers.
And yes to close this post . You know we cant afford to throw an event as huge as baybeats . and thats where we need the help of organisers , so no smarty pants post pls. Remember, Genre is what seperates us. We are all in this together. See you at

Oh yeah and click 5 will be killed if they played at Ozzfest for sure. But then again we had Woodstock. Which was a mix genre show. They would not have been killed there. Rappers perform at big day out . Music is universal. Singapore needs a huge mix genre event . Baybeats cant be blamed for it as it is an indie event.
We have so many talented musicians but too many separations

baybeats is not actually really what it is.
yes.
its the biggest gig and its an honour to perform in such an event.
but now,its much more of a mixed genre than indie festival.
bands such as ava,love me butch,brand new sunset,blindside played there.
heavy bands.
a little bit of hardcore.
well,not the hardcore of comeback kid,terror.
but,you know.
screamo stuff.
yeah.
times has changed.
alternative,metal bands will get the chance.
if a metal band perform at baybeats,the concept will be different.
hopefully.
sky in euphoria.?
7 pound vein.?
ossuary.?
bhelliom.?
we might get to see them.
or heaven knows,they might get an invitation to perform at next years baybeats.

i believe the panels spend lots of time stressing and choosing the final 30.
its not an easy thing to do .
well,
i see alot of names i expected missing from the final 30.
where's amateur takes control.?
where's rika.?
where's armchair critic.?
where's trella.?
these young bands has got what it takes to play at baybeats.
but its good to see duxton plains,cardinal avenue,the sexies and silhouette in the list.
really hope that these bands made it through the final 10.
anyone of u send out demos but didnt get to selected.
id like to know.

haha i really dont get why everyone's like "uh why this band get in, its gonna be another indie/emo/hxc beats" baybeats has already been established as an alternative music festival so i guess everything falls under that what eh? comeon man our scene's already so small dont really need haters to subdivide it further than it already is! my 2c
