Artist Autographs on Guitar. Suggestions?

Artist Autographs on Guitar.

Anyone have any Idea where i should get the autographs on my guitar? The Click Five's coming. Erm.. But yea.. kinda like their music.

1. Any brands of markers to recommend [those fast dry, high quality, cant be rubbed off or smudge kind]?

2. I still wanna play my guitar without rubbing off the signatures so how should i protect the signatures?

3. Where should i get them to sign at?

I'm holding on to a les paul which currently looks like this:

Here's a rather funny but true story about artsists and autographs on their guitars.

A long time back, I was paying in a club in Pacific Plaza called Studebakers. It was a pretty big, up market club with a lot of high profile guests.

My ex bass player James Rosario sings and plays Lobo (Me & U and a dog named boo) songs. Well, believe it or not, one nite Mr Lobo himself was in the club.

After James had performed his Lobo cover tune, at the end of our set durring the band's break - Lobo came over and complimented him on his cover of his tune.

James ((my ex bassist) replied that he was a big fan, bla bla ... so Lobo asked him if he would like his autograph on his bass.

James of course replied: Eh no thanks..this is an expensive Musiacman!

These pens are those used to write on cds.. IMO it should be good enough. However, it will start to fade with constant playing I'm sure.

Your best bet is to get them to sign on the pickguard, then get a new one and put that on your guitar.

Or you could do this.

I placed this plastic thing over the back to protect it cos the marker used wasn't a permanent one. Its something like a wrapper..

Its like a film. Clear, not so thick. Been on the back of my LP for almost a year now and it still looks fine. Nothing deformed or anything

Used to like them. Was still ok when Kyle Patrick took over. Then i watched live the dream and saw how Kyle's attitude was on stage. I can't stand stuck ups. But maybe Kyle was just having a bad day or something. Anyway, hearing jenny one too many times everywhere is really annoying.
