Are UFOs real?!

woooo *newbie comes to crash the thread*

so many pages of posts and i am a lazy bum so i will not read it. from the last...five? posts, i'd like to remind us folks something: we, are people of music. whether we create or appreciate, we exist to remind the world that music destroys all social barriers we have created - caste, class, race, religion, ah blahblah. if you feel pissed that XX religion or XX race are...being themselves, remember XX people have felt pissed too. you feel angry, sometime in their life they've felt angry, just like how you me christian chinese muslim russian buddhist german nazi any ahblahblah human has felt love, joy, hate, sorrow, rage, misery, jealousy....
we all feel the same, why spread hate?
try to understand others, learn to tolerate them, and then if you could...accept them. love thy enemy. \m/ (at the same time, life will be less miserable in general for you. trust me.)

btw, whoever's being "ZOMG YOU IS A XX, i do not like you"...i love you to bits, seriously. kisses! muackzz

TLDR - shame on racist music people. boooo.

back to thread!

imo aliens definitely exist. c'mon, let's come back to primary...five science. you know our solar system has about nine planets - discovered so FAR right? and the distance between earth and her moon alone is like...wooo how many million great wall of chinas is needed to fill up that distance. and we still have to consider we're just a PART of a solar system, in a universe with A WHOLE LOTSA LOTSA solar systems....

my point being, our universe is very very very big. it'll be arrogant to say that we homo sapiens are so lucky to be the only 1 of 1489581589580585523850 x 10^321418481489481958 occurrences whereby life...existed.

SO YES. THERE ARE ALIENS OUT THERE :O

*but* UFOS? highly unlikely.

cmon we all know you gots to travel reallyreally quick to get to point A of universe to point B of universe. and if you travel REALLY much quicker you will...timetravel!

im saying that's its really impractical for our friends out there in space to..send their own friends over for a visit. (or war. :O you never know...) what are the possibilities they...die on their spaceship, before it reaches earth? D: i'm sure they considered that. after all, they're renowned for being so advanced in technology that they abduct us peoples! surely they're smart enough to send somebody- somealienbody - over, and make sure somealienbody stays alive?

it's really more likely they'll do something like...try to send out radio signals or such first. or send out robots! aha! things that do not have heartbeats and cannot die in the middle of a space ride.

just my two cents'~

Mormon videos were in jest.

I've posted link about ancient aliens 2009.

Of course the blind ignorant twat who was itching for a debate conveniently ignored that.

"I've posted link about ancient aliens 2009" what the heck are you trying to bring across here? Your coherence in that statement is so horrible even your extraterrestrial friends would be mollified!

So let's see, who do you 'debate' with then? Notice I put the inverted commas just so you know I don't take this conversation as a debate, because I'd probably have to spell it out for you like that for you to realise it.

Anyway, so who do you 'debate' with? More alien-obsessed freaks? Look, what little it may be, I know some things about the universe, and that simple probability tells us there is other life out there. It doesn't take rocket science, neither does it take a 'spiritually-evolved' bullshitter like you to figure that out. What I am telling you is that yes, probability tells us there is other forms of life in the world, but who are you to tell us that so many things of human life as we know it is completely false?

You keep using 'ignorant'. Do you even know what the definition of ignorance is? What you are doing, that's what it is. Coupled with stupidity and delusion, of course.

Plus all that crap about first contact, what the hell were you smoking when you watched Independence Day?? Do you know what a light year is? Once you figure that out, try and wrap your head around what it would mean for an object to fly multiple light years, and visit our beautiful earth.

Consider E=MC2, an equation that, unlike your silly 'evidence' is actually 100% proven. Anything with mass cannot travel faster than the speed of light. Go figure how long it would take for something to travel across galaxies, then do the math yourself.

You with your UFO first contact earth destruction shit, doesn't get any better than that!

You base your science and apply it on other life/civilization.

Your logic is like an ANT trying to reason it's worldview to a human.

Just like how a human is trying to apply what a ET civilization could/could not do based on the human's arrogant perception of 'science' that is barely 200 years old.

If the ET civilization has matured beyond humans at a rate of thousands or even millions of years ahead they would be laughing at your puny human science logic.

Wow tonefart. Nice 180 degree turn. Ok just give it a rest la, there can never be winners in online debates.

you know, im just random kid who charged in blindly into this thread, and i dont really have lots of time to read all forteen pages, so you know what? you win. i won't argue with you. all hail em ET, they are pwn and we all love them and they...bake the best cookies.

peace to you...ET's...best friend. may you live in your happy word of freshly baked cookies!

still sticking to my stand on UFOS-unlikely; ALIENS- for sure.

Actually UFOs are possible. THere are just many things we humans are not capable yet. They are too big of a logic for us to grasp yet.

It's possible, but at this point of time based on knowledge that we know and have, it is improbable. And if we don't use this knowledge which some claim to be immature and flawed, what then do we use? Mindless belief in life forms that are a million times smarter and more advanced than us?? Come on...

It's possible, but at this point of time based on knowledge that we know and have, it is improbable.

we should shush and let cookies enjoy their sumerian cookies, otherwise cookies may crumble and the liberation tigers of sumerian ET may establish a base in our little little earth, that's last we want. :l

anyway, what, we? hmm for me, i think it's unlikely that *we* are the ufos of another planet with life on it, but the possibility that there are UFOs around our vicinity is...it is possible, but unlikely, thinking about the whole many light years it'll take from one point of the universe to another. i'm sure aliens considered that too. ^^

Come on guys. Its just a simple thread about aliens, keep it simple. You may not agree with other's religious belief but at least respect them.

As thread starter, I TOTALLY AGREE!!

But I guess the whole religion thing came up because the pressence of aliens has been linked to ancient times, where a lot of today's religions originated from.

Here's an interesting questino though

If aliens really did make FIRST CONTACT with us, what ways do you think it would impact the world on a social level? Will there still be Earthly warmongering? Will wars cease to exist, or will it be heightened to a whole new level?

P.S. Give me some rep points for starting a good thread leh :P

Something tells me people might actually take you seriously if you didn't miss out the glaring errors in your use of language.

Some stupid nitwit will start shooting the aliens, the aliens shoot back, bye bye humanity. Simple end to a not so simple and not very necessary part of the cosmos.

I thinked that aliens will be sadded when they see this threaded. :(

The warrior-behind-computer(me) still think that aliens are suppose to be cool.

I know one thing though, they won't be happy about the Jonas brothers wor.

It's quite funny how humans assume aliens, if they exist and ever manage to come to earth, to be conquerors of our planet and destroyers of human life. We always think the worst of everything. Why can't the aliens just be exploring? Discovering new planets and life forms, maybe trying to make universal friends in order to make the world a better place, literally the WORLD.

If it ever happens, I doubt war will cease. Man will always find reason for conflict one way or another.

No...No... Aliens are cool dudes. They would bring space drugs and chill with their guitar, cajon with us. Aliens Unplugged at Esplanade.

, I doubt war will cease. Man will always find reason for conflict one way or another.

so very very true

I find that hard to conceive. Hm.

Here's the deal. We think that aliens exist. But we think that, with our current knowledge, it is impossible for aliens to travel so many light years to reach us.

So, enlighten me, anyone, if aliens do REACH Earth.

And Sumerian drawings on wall can't prove that aliens have visited Earth and became our Gods. -.-

Whatever has been posted before, I don't give a .

All I can say is, if there's one alien race that I'd like to meet and learn from, it's:

well.. the nearest star to our sun, Alpha centaurius is only 4 light years away, its not that 'impossible'.

And current knowledge or more specifically cosmic string theory do suggest the possibility of wormholes, a short cut through space-time fabric for interstellar travel. Though such theories are still very much untestable.
