Hi...

Im a regular in SOFT and often see some personal remarks being made by some SOFTies that i wont said but you know who you are.... Most of them are crude, worthless and just a bunch of crap and not even a piece of single cent in the modern society...

Well, im not here to bring anything personal here... Just wanna let u know any wonderful experience u had with any softies.... like performing together, find anyone special in SOFT, wanna find a lost friend here.... just update it here and maybe ur friends will appreciate u back..

Just doing this for fun sake anyway.....

I would like to thank subversion for providing indepth reviews of gear and for spending close to 3 hours at sweelee helping me and my friend choose test/choose guitars. :D

I would also like to thank fretless6 for exposing me to jazz and progressive/technical metal and also for that uber cool symphony x demonstration! :o

some of us have a deeper affiliation to SOFT than just treating it as a mere forum.

cloudsky: anytime, bro! :partyman:

i'd like to thank JAMES for keeping this platform meaningful- hats off!!

When it comes to gears, and if i'm looking for a good opinion from a local guy, it has got to be... subversion! Reading his reviews saved me from making some of those PlazaSing-Parklane-Peace-BB-Peninsula-tour when I'm too tired to go out.

Also, i'm impressed by these pple's talent: empty77, randolf, and blueark. They love their gear so much that they went ahead to create their own (mods, etc). Great passion! Reading what they shared here is good enough.

Thanks guys, for your contribution in SOFT.

i would like to thank every single one of soft members..... you guys make me laugh..... mr soft himslef.... heartrock singapore... aging youth.... boon... fat cat... grim boody.... ichiro.... pepper.... sofyan.... they've become my friends.....

cheers to that....

Dangerous - for those not listed, it's not because you didn't contribute, but they are just too many people who contributed to soft, it's hard to list all down.

1. James - he had a vision many years ago and I'm really encouraged to see that vision grow over the years. I've been logging on since Day One soft started. And it has really grown. So the first person to thank is James for his vision, and his dedication to make his vision a reality. In the process, I believe many has been helped.

2. Lowjk. He doesn't post often lately (more often in the past), although I'm sure he frequents here. But everytime he posts, it is always constructive advice. His knowledge on softsynths, analog gears, soundcards and keyboard is amazing. So lowjk - post more leh. I've learned a lot from you.

3. Iansoh. One of the few keyboardists who not knows only the gears, but actually plays them well. So his advices comes not only from head knowledge, but real-life experience. Certainly an important contributor to the keyboard section.

4. Bongman. The amazing "resource man". Ask where to get a gear, he will tell you the cheapest source from soft ads (even if it's posted long ago but not sold), ebay, other ads sources etc. He seems to know who sells what and which is the cheapest. Truly amazing!

5. Mingguan. His enthusiasm sure encourages me. I occasionally get PMs from him linking me to threads that ask questions he thinks I can contribute. So it appears he screens through threads and is sincerely trying to help. Really enjoy discussing things with him.

6. Many others - too many. Mr_keyboardman is another good resource. Teraslasch is the GPO guy. I don't frequent the guitar side, but Subversions' reviews are really impressive and I believe very helpful. And of course, madmonkeykungfu brings generates good discussions. Love it when there are differing constructive opinions. Many more others to list down.

oh boy?
I become a gear man?
not musician meh?

anyway,
Cheez has always gave very good postings and contributions
and shown integrity.
of course LowJK, shared very good knowledge of music technology.
IanSoh the frequent contributor who selflessly post the pics of his setup.
MingGuang, Headhunter, Mr_KeyboardMan, Teraslasch, Qfactor and lately AnalogPurist gave us a peek of his treasures.

may the groove be with you...

First of all, thanks Cheez for info/advice/recommendation on theory, composition, arrangement, sequencing, gear selection/setup…etc. His professional (in Music) really impressed me.I enjoy discussion with him.

Thanks Iansoh for info/advice/recommendation on theory, composition, arrangement, sequencing, gear selection/setup…etc.

Thanks Soft for info on gear selection/setup…etc. And, name this place as "SOFT". I like this name (because I soft-hearted???), that's why I'm here!

Thanks Teraslasch for GPO/sequencing info…etc. I enjoyed Final Fantasy music discussion with him thru MSN.

Thanks Turbochicken for doing Karaoke version of Kusha on my request. 192 kbps leh...

Thanks Qutatune for provided me a copy of freeware SQ01 (as it no more equipped in S90ES & new batch of S90). Thanks for his help (although his dog not so welcome me).

Thanks xspace for sending me Jerry’s Canon in D mp3 (since it is not available in the market & I can’t find it in internet).

Thanks gordonzz for sending me Yngwie Malmsteen (although we know it is not done by him)’s Canon in D mp3 (since it is not available in the market & I can’t find it in internet also).

Thanks Bongman always providing all the up-to-date gear info. He is really our updated "yellowpages" in gears.

Thanksto Lowjk, Qfactor, Mr_KeyboardMan & Overcast, as i like to read these people's thread also...

And thanks to those who replied my very 1st thread (ie. Soft, Cheez, Iansoh, Bongman, Teraslasch, Turbochicken & Overcast).

And thanks to those who listen & comment on my OM (ie. Soft, DoubleBlade, Teraslasch, Iansoh, MrRhoads & purplehaze3691).

Eh...
I hope I really didn't missed out any...
If there is, please forgive me...
