Green day's one of the most 'fun' bands i've ever listened to.
To me, punk music is all about having fun. You dont really have to be technically able to play the guitar since its all barchords and i believe that's what makes it so fun! :twisted:

its kinda sad to see some people not liking them just because they dont play the guitar like soloists and such - but i believe music = creativity and they've got what it takes in their length! I dont knwo what im talking about but yea, just dont refer them to 'scratch cock' guitaring band.

Same Here.. I agree.. Some people think that punk is easy and simple music but it is not about whether it is easy or not.. It's music man.. Some people may like soloist while some people like bar-chords.. To me both I like.. I do listen to punk some times and some times I listen to black metal.. Hei I sometimes listen to BOYBANDS also lar.. Music is universal.. What you choose is your choice.. But do not critise other music genre bcos they are also part of music too.. Just listen to what you like and be happy with it.. I found out that Soft has a lot of rock and metal fans.. Punk fans sometimes are left out bcos rock and metal fans does not 'gum' with punk fans.. Well that's my opinion lar.. I also gets that some rock and metal fans do not like punk or punk rock bcos.. I don't know.. Hmm.. Ok lar.. It's up to you.. Anyway thanks for reading my long speech..

IMO, Green Day was at its best in its Dookie days. Am a fan of Dookie but not American Idiot. AI was kinda overproduced to me.
