Anyone can help me out with delay pedals?

not really.
well my teacher advised me to get a Maxon chorus pedal first then a delay.

Your teacher got good taste. Maxon Chorus are very good. Current batches got True Bypass, much better than the current Ibanez offerings.

LOL. personally, i wouldnt go for the h20 purely for the delay, cos its more for the WA-TAH!! so yeah.. anyway, this is very apt cos i just cured my gas for a good delay pedal with an echo park. sex.

here's my lowdown on your choice.

1) Boss dd3
i had this one for about a year, and i got sick of having to bend down and twiddle knobs to adjust delay time so i was gassing for a pedal with tap tempo. this one is quite a versatile pedal in that sense that you can get quite a range of timings from 80ms to 800ms, OK for mid range la and it also has this cool hold function that you can loop a riff or sth to infinity as long as you press it down. price at sweelee now is 220+

2) Echopark
theres a learning curve to this one, with finding the sweet spot for the tapping and the amt of decay and time and all that, its VERY VERY versatile.

3) www.google.com

4) www.harmony-central.com

pls surf around for reviews and sound clips then talk. haha

eh...nobody seems to compare the DD3 versus the DD6 or maybe i did not read much enough in all the threads.i thought that the DD6 is quite a good delay pedal although it would be better if one could attach another expression pedal for tap tempo functions.

why not a DD2? I just picked one up off ebay, and it's GREAT! It's a little warmer than the MIT DD3, but probably the same as the MIJ DD3 since it was just a name change until they moved production to Taiwan.

I've also taken a liking to the Arion SAD3, which is an analog delay. It's very nice. I don't own one yet... but I'm looking...

did a A/B test with a DD-2 and an MIT DD-3. thats the main reason why I kept the DD-2. is DD-2 considered digital? cos it sounds really good imo. only bad thing is, it has been discontinued for years. good luck hunting =).

DD2 is Digital Delay heh.

Digital is good because have a lot of clarity.

Digital has it's uses. So doesn't mean your delay sounds damn good means it's analog. Very clear digital repeats with no decay sound damn nice to when used correctly.

Analrock is goot cosh hav warmf n nish dekay.

Heer ish latest analrock deray i is tru bypash modded.

Whooo! Totally price + mod ish only $115 whoo! Warmf warmf deray!

Anyway, at the end of the day, you are getting what you are buying.

I mean, why buy a Boss DD6 and complain its too cold sounding? Its a Digital Delay! Sheesh. At least you can put a hi cut mod in it.

I looked at the H2O as well before getting my DD2. I liked it coz of the two channel chorus/delay thing. But I was told that VS had some reliability issues with both the case and the chip inside the H2O.

Have a read of a few reviews on harmony-central. Then ask around to see if anyone has had any bad experiences here. It could just be that the yanks are harsher on their boards... i dunno... I ended up with the DD2 and a DOD Ice man chorus, which isn't great, but it serves its purpose.

Well, go to a large empty area, like a cave, big hall, and yell/clap. Thats a natural echo.

Compare it to the H20.

The Ibanez DE7 has a great, warm Echo too. All for ard $120 @ Swee Lee.
