I tried the digidelay, seems ok so far..

read abt the issues about echopark....

im also thinking of dd-6...but heard its sterile sounding...

Can also get the DD5 if the press and hold DD6 tap tempo is too troublesome. I can make small small smallllllllll tap tempo pedal:

Its the one under my Johnson delay. The small white box. I squeeze it there ahaha.

I think TRex would be the best option ba. The subdivision lets you choose dotted eights, and the brown lets you choose 'warm'. Many tap tempos either:
1) have the warping noise when the tempo is changed
2) mute the delay while you are tapping
3) Rarely, process the delay perfectly (DD20 does this)

I forgot which one the TRex is, have to go research a bit.

if you want a "warmer" digital sound, try the DD2. I picked one off ebay and it's great.
Alternatively, I REALLY like the Arion SAD. Just bought a SAD 1.

Hmm thanks guys, I was reluctant to post at first cos i knew you madmen would definitely recommend the bootik stuff...

Hmm, looking at the space on my board, and the fact that I use Delay (Tap Tempo)-once in a while only, I was thinking of something under the SGD 300 budget, cos more than that it won't be justified to myself..

Therefore, its DD-6 Vs Digidelay...

I knew you crazy bootik freaks would recommend those(T-Rex,Memory Lane) anyway...still waiting for ciel to say ECHOCZAR...


Ark, if I get the Digidelay, can you make an external footswitch for tap tempo?what abt the DD6/?

dd6 no option for external tap tempo switch. ur stuck with the digidelay

DD6 doesn't have a tap tempo out. DD5 has.
Digidelay also don't have.

DD6 and digidelay is you do the step and hold thing, for tap tempo. Then step and hold again to go back to switch off/switch on
