Ok lets say I wanna bid for a guitar, where by the reserve price has not yet been met.. So lets say, I won the right to buy the item, does this mean tat I will buy it at the price I bidded or at the reserve price? I`m afraid tat if I won the right to buy, the seller will throw me a very ridiculous reserve high price...is tat the case???

Any help is appreciated...

The reserved price is the minimum price the seller is willing to sell at. He set this so that he can start off the auction at an attractive price (eg. $1), to get people excited.

There is an indicator like "Reserve not met", to tell bidders they have not hit the minimum price. Once the reserve price is achieved, the indicator will dissappear.

If there are bidders already but at the close of auction, the reserved price is not met, the auction deal does NOT go thru. The item is NOT sold.

Hope this info is useful. Happy bidding.

(NB. always check the terms and conditions properly before bidding, most ebay US do not want to ship overseas. also consider the risks and plenty of other stuffs to ponder too.)

if the seller is kind enough, he/she might reveal to you the reserve price if you ask. then you can start your bid based on reserve price.

another important thing is don't forget to confirm the shipping amount.

if you won the item and pay via paypal, having a credit card is handy. it's super easy to pay and you can get the SGD amount right away.

good luck bro.
