Any Watchmen Fans here? The Graphic Novel not the band

fortunately, I got to read the graphic novel before watching the movie.To me,Overall,the movie did justice to bring the book to life.Before,My favorite character in the book was Rorschach,I still think he's the coolest but after the movie,I've come to develop a personal taste for Silk Spectre or Laurie...

yeah man..rorschach's amazing..

Jackie Earle Haley looks very similar to rorschach/walter kovacs in the graphic novel....hope he will get nominated for at least one or two awards....

it's also cool to see hooded justice come to life..even though in just a few scenes..

I found out there's actually a comic within a comic in watchmen called "tales of the black freighter". They are making it into an animation to compliment the movie, but it will come out straight into DVD coz its a 22 min show. Ok here's a little trivia I found in imdb, the director also directed 300 and he promised gerard butler who played leonidas a role in watchmen, but when all cast were full and he did not have any part he was given the the role in this animation.
