to all softies out there, u guys know of any good reverb pedals to share about? btw,i'm a bass player so can git reverb pedals be used for bass?

of course, sir; reverb can be applied to bass/ keys/ vocals as well.

in my books, EHX's Holy Grail is the standard to beat.

LINE6's Verbzilla offers basic reverberation & some sci-fi options for the easily bored.

for a no-frills performance + affordability, Marshall's Reflector should be on your list

i don't own any reverb pedals because i believe reverb sounds much better integrated into the amp. i make it a point to own amps with on-board reverb units, unless they sound good per se without one. it seems that many bass amps are conceived with a reverb omission.

neverthless, i tried the above 3 pedals extensively (thanks to ebenex/ davis) & would be reviewing some in the near future. for a precise price quotation, do give the dealers a call:

ebenex: 63452053
davis: 63375092

eventhough I'm selling EH hahahaha but I'd get a Line6 Verbzilla anytime, just that I have way too many reverb pedals and rackmounts.

JSUK, Line6 tonecore pedals CANNOT share power supplies.

Get some, nooboy get some.

BAL!

thanks for all dudes, ok, i've narrowed down to a verbzilla and a holy grail, what do u think i shld get?though i've heard that holy grails are dreadfully noisy,

if dont need deep reverb till gettinng lost and mash up sound, try the holy grail

if need deep deep reverb where it start to sound like never ending sound that goes into the deep deep end of thing, get the verbzilla. It will drone out everything at extreme setting..

as for the power supply, it does need its own tonecore adaptor. But at times when iam too lazy to plug in the tone core adaptor, i just use one spot with the dc chain. It works too. No sign of hum though, although theres been report of usage with one spot but with hum, ymmv..

get a holy grail.
get it from me!

hur hur hur....

stock in in 2 weeks.

hur hur hur......

bwahahahhaa....

ok too much beer at 3pm on a boring sat afternoon.

400-500 for the holiest is consider cheap. I got it when it was just release couple years back and its several hundreds more than 4 to 500...

anyway, the verbzilla sorta taken the place of the holiest grail on my board coz the verbzilla can do as deep reverb as holiest grail. But then the holiest can do some weird noise and exp control that the verbzilla cant do.

If not for estate place on board, the holiest grail might be on it instead..

so does that mean that line6 tonecore pedals cant be used with a 1spot with powering about 7-8 pedals alr?because that's what my current 1spot is dong, thinking of adding in the verbzilla.also, so is it required to get a seperate adaptor for the verbzilla or....?

its best if you get the tonecore adaptor. It is recomended.

anyway, if all your 7-8 pedals is drawing current less than the rated spec of one spot, it shud work. But if you are kind and dont want to overwork your one spot, you can separate using 2 one spot to power those effect

i use verbzilla with one spot in daisy chain with other effect coz iam lazy to add in another adaptor at times, it work, no hum. But if spoilt, i am willing to accept, coz i didnt follow the advice on using tone core adaptor..

so, if you wanna use one spot, try at you own risk. If you wana play safe, use tonecore adaptor..
