Amplifier For Bass?

Hi All,

Need recommendation here, I want to buy a 70-100 W amps for Bass, what would be recommended?

I tried Hartke A35/70, the sound is rather too raw for me, or is it just me?

I'm preferring something that sounds warm and solid. Budget would be between 500-1000 SGD

P.S.: I heard Eden is good, but where can I get it from in SG?

i consider the Hartke amps to be very appealing when it comes to tone, however, the Ibanez Soundwave series are the ones I'd recommend if you are keen in value-for-money models.

woodworkz @ penin yang jual gallien krueger. lu beli head ama combo lu punya rumah atau sewa kamar...lol gw pake hartke combo aja naik dikit langsung dimarahin ama yang punya rumah lol...

Just my opinion gallien krueger is more like bright and aggressive sounding to me to warm, for warm amp, i will look at ampeg, ashdown, or ebs stuff. good thing about ebs stuff is you can turn off the tweeter and help to make the bass sounds more "vintage", or you can try look at fender bassman also warm sounding but fender bassman the bad thing is the mid is cut only

Hi!
I would recommend the GK mb200 amp head & buy the matching bass cab for it.
Search for its specs on the web. I think it does fit your needs. It is lightweight, plus the amp head itself is very portable, it can fit in your gigbag... You can always opt for mb-500 if mb-200 is not enough.
Like what was posted earlier, woodworkz has it.

P.S. -- i still miss my a6.
