aluminium cone speaker

i have seen a couple of bass amps online that feature aluminium speaker cones, such as the hartke A30 and the behringer bxl450a. i also realise that these models come in paper cone variants. can anyone enlighten me on the difference between conventional paper cone and the alu cone?

i've never played on an aluminium cone amp before. i've been waiting ages for the hartke stock to arrive at citymusic but i've given up. anyone knows if they have been restocked?

interesting; not very different. abit more smooth-ish tone i think. can't quite tell the difference! ^^"
