acoustica mixcraft

i find acoustica mixcraft very useful for recording tracks as it has layer by layer recording (record one instrument by one). But sadly, i have 7 days to use it cuz i dun have the registration code.. Can anyone help me?? or is there any other recording software that is free (other than goldwave and audacity)??

even i myself am struggling to buy an axe for myself...

I used the pirated ver before... it will work for a while but later will still prompt u for valid code and you won't be able to mix it to mp3 or other format. But I've been using it for quite a long time since the 1st ver so I decided to purchase it. Cost me SG$70 and worth buying since just for hobby. Can't be that expensive..you are talking about mixcraft 2 right? Unless there's a newer ver out now.
