Join musician and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Purnomo as he strums happy favourites on this happy instrument. Kids and adults alike will be invited to engage in interactive rhythm games; and if you have an instrument or ukulele, bring it and play along!

About your host, Daniel Purnomo

Daniel Purnomo is a passionate and creative musician who has been performing professionally for various shows, private, corporate, national and international events for more than 25 years.
He is one of the finalists of the International Ukulele Contest in 2018 and 2019 (open solo category) in Honolulu, Hawaii. His trained team called Singapore Ukulele Revival (SURE) won the 2nd prize in the same contest in group category respectively in 2019 and 2020. He is the finalist of Kris Fuchigami Ukulele Contest in 2020 and the 1st runner up in open category for an Online International Solo Ukulele Competition 2021 and 2022 organised by Malaysia Ukulele Festival.
He's the founder & organiser of The 1st Singapore Ukulele Camp and Fun Holiday in South East Asia in 2018 and 2019.
As an educator he has been teaching and imparting his musical passion, practical knowledge and innovative thoughts in structured methods to greatly benefit his students. Many have gained deeper understanding in music in general and in ukulele specifically as Daniel reveals the "secret" of music concept and the mapping of ukulele fingerboard through his revelatory and inspiring approach. His patient and sense of humour certainly make his class fun to experience. He is a sought after, dedicated and passionate ukulele trainer in Singapore community.
