Sweet. I finally found something that explains what I'm doing soldering all the wires.

Not all mega switches work the same way although the basic principle is the same. The trick is to use a multimeter to find the 4 commons and check the corresponding lugs for each common. Blindly wiring to any 5 way 4 pole switch is a recipe for disaster heh.
