Lime mag have changed alot now. MORE ON LOCAL stufffs. POWER lah.

Well just remmeber to keep asking ur friends to check it out. I think that most of the songs should appeal to different groups of people
If you want to let my editor (i.e. boss) know that local music is a good thing to support more often and more extensively, with more money pumped into doing more stuff like this, please feel free to write to the following email address and let him know

The more you guys take 2-3 minutes of your time to write a quick letter of support and requests for Volume II to be a possibility, the more emails we can forward to our management to let them know that there are people out there who believe (just like us) that this is the right direction we should be taking!

I'm asking my friends to buy, but i just get dishearted when some say, "Not interested"

And these people happen to be musicians... It's not easy and reality hurts. The stigma that local music are not as good as standards from overseas is hard to remove... Asking them to, "you not interested in local music? go fcuk off!" won't really help...

What do we do?

Local Music comes from the heart.

Don't force them to support. Make them support local stuffs from the heart and sincere.

Don't be disheartened. Theres more local supporters out there.

i personally liked slathe, you guys are fking awesome for such young lads.
flawed element are pretty good too.
the antique and caracal were my favourites.
not forgetting wgb.
its good seeing hardcore bands in the cd, really encouraging.
worth the 3 bucks and more.

got it yesterday...the cd is good! especially the antique...:] it would be cool if a vacant affair was in it though!

well anyway, i think that if lime became a local magazine for local music, i would most definitely like the change. :] but then again it will take quite alot of time before that would happen yea? first need more singaporeans to support the local music scene...then again, good effort with the cd!

after listening to the cd, i felt that almost all sound alike leh.
can be classified into three groups, the "indie", the metal, and the pop punk.
i especially like those metal bands. Oshiego really rocks la!
armchair critic's shush is also very nice...
other than that, i think dont have really any outstanding ones.
but still, i think all 30 bands have done a good job.
will be waiting for VOL.2.......
