For the ipodders who use cover art, I did a scan of the cd package:

The names of all the local bands is on the cover of the LIME.
I'm so happy. In the afternoon there were 10 copies at my 7-11, now there's only 2 left. I saw a kid who was talking to his friend asking him to try listening to the bands on the CD. Yay!
P.S. Pls read the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus interview on page 60. I think their wise words might inspire some of the local bands here

Volume II will come out if sales this month is rock solid
But you know, it was a sly move on the editorial part to put "VOLUME ONE" in the name lol. So it'd be quite silly of us if volume II never happens
ah you don't need to worry about that. most girls would get it cos of maroon 5. most guys would get it cos of the cd. it'll be sold out in most shops by midnight tonight. haha

haha yeah it's not 100 percent indie.
what we meant by indie was 'independent', in the usual sense of the world. not indie music
i'm not a big fan of indie music myself, the genre i mean. personal taste.
Personal Likes:
i do have a soft spot for Armchair Critic's Shush and Slathe's Bury
I think the screams of the vocalist of Flawed Element totally rocks
and also think that Special Someone by Peepshow is a really sweet song
And the chorus of Fake by Valentine's Letter
Dislikes:
I think the vocalist of Astroninja, that Levan guy, he's a real asshole. I feel like punching him! lol

actually i laughed at astroninja' song title. bukkake. haha. you guys sure are daring to put such a word in a song let alone the title.
but over-all, i think its ok. just hope that volume 2 (if there even gonna BE a volume 2) will be much more harder. haha

HAHA yeah. BUKKAKE was allowed because we added the UDON at the end, but it is essentially about bukkake(udon?!). lol "and all I really want you to say, 'Do You want a bukka bukka ke?'"
u guys should check out the Full Pledge Munkees. They are totally awesome.

well i hope my band makes it for volume 2. hahaha
keep me posted just in case you guys decide for a volume 2.
perhaps you should continue with vol. 3,4,5 till all the bands in singapore gets featured once. haha crazy idea
