bro if really cannot, yeah just take a rain check this time round and meet for kopi afterwards. i can only there from 12 - 3pm. Let blissy bro hold the fort this time round, am sure once we get things going it'll be all good then can just chill 8)

Actually Bro Zildjohn wanted to join us this 4th Meetup but his parents just came to Singapore (got to bring them tour around) , so he can and will only join us in our 5th Meetup onwards...great bro too...very good in photography - " I believe you all saw the pics of DrumFest" that's him...

no lah.....after seeing some of today's chops...I went home and removed the dust from the drums and practice kit....I need to start practising......thanks to all of you for lighting the fire inside which was switched off due to daily living pressures ... haha

Yo... unable to be there but the cymbals can go on my behalf... :lol: ... any comment on modified Sabian hi-hats? :roll:

Hey D_H, I find that this modified sabian hats are the complete opposite of the safari hats. Safari hats seems to have a prolong sound after playing and this modified sabian hats doesn't ring much after you hit it. There's no washy sound from it. I think it's a good experiment and can be put into some good use in some songs!

I do see it as a studio hats... good for recording... it is a science that the wash is minimized by modifying the edge of the cymbal... will do some filing on either the wuhan ride or the trojan ride as chinese made cymbals tend to have alot of wash...
