4.5V

i got a korg ampsim that runs only on 4.5V supply and it sucks battery very fast. so in the long run it'll be better investment getting an external supply, like an adaptor. but i cant find any 4.5V adaptors around?

can anyone help me? like where to get these 4.5V adaptors if any, or step down transformers from a 9V or smth.

pls?

build a voltage divider circuit

then plug in the 9v
and hook the 4.5 v over to the pedal

you only need 2 ,100ohms resistors connected in series

Why go thro all the trouble..

go to sim lim tower and SEARCH for adjustable regulated power supply.

some of them curiously looks like the One Spot.

I'd recomment go straight up to the 3rd floor, and start looking from your left.

hehehe dats wat i tot wen aunties at sim lim were pretending to flirt with me trying to interest me to get a very "one spot" luking adaptor...

o well i bought 6 heh

it means that what i suspected all along is pretty true that sim lim shops use the aunties to great sales effects.

Iv been using a single 2amp power supply that has worked pretty well so far without any noise issues n supplying all the needed power for my floor pedals. So far so good. I can't gurantee anything however.

And if ever perhaps we'll make bulk orders of such adaptors print some new labels and restick them and mayybe just maybe we'll call it "Power Spot"

Edder, Goosey u listenin? Why not rite?

:)

Thanx ar Leecs.... you are the best. I relly needed that

Anyway Tany, I dont think onespot has any 4.5 volts adaptor.
dont think its that common a volt rating for guitar effects.

Maybe you can try and ask your Korg dealer if they have an adaptor for you

seekz i swear i've seen that thing somewhere. hehe.

erm the korg pedal was bought second hand, already discontinued quite long i think. but i believe noise wont be a problem since the function of this pedal for me is to simulate clean amps.

i'm running my pedals into this amp sim and straight to PA, and the clean is awesome! i'm using the fender tweed patch, and it's so organic. rather great thing.

anyway, it's a those standard boss jack size if i'm not sure. but so long as it can power 4.5V i'm ok with it!

oh and beo embryo bro.... i rikes the aunties there!

my favourite one is called cindy.
