Just got one, the daisy chain thing looks slightly flimsy to me and feels like it might come out from the pedals anytime. Im a bit worried about a gig situation.

Anyone have experience from gigging/abusing 1spots?

unless someone is continuous stepping round the area of the pedal where the barrel is connected to the pedal, if not, it wont come out so easily.

The hole in the barrel of the daisy chain fit the "stick" in the pedal power jack nicely, not too tight or loose.

Even with power supply like voodoo lab type or those box type, its also using those barrel type jack. So there shouldnt be any problem.

Oh, so you mean that all the power supplies are the same then? Thats assuring. I did read somewhere that those box type ones like DC brick are more suited to a gig. I wonder why

The Dunlop DC brick... well... its actually a glorified 1Spot. You have the Brick itself with all its outputs but it draws its power from a regulated Dunlop adaptor which supplies up to 1,000mA of power. None of the 8 9v outputs are isolated - as good as daisy chaining. Have 18v output which is nice but come on... for the price?! Get the voodoo labs PP2+ if you wanna upgrade from a 1Spot.

1Spot is fine... good enough, easy to find, cheap enough for one to buy a backup.
