hey peeps,i was told that Singapore doesnt sell the zvex fuzz factory.Wondering if any pedals that sound similar to it? i was wondering if the ibanez fz7 is comparable to it?

in term of sound, fuzz factory sound like itelf. Although some has mentioned the discontinued zoom UF-1 as a more affordable version of the fuzz factory, that one i dont know coz never tried the zoom one b4

In term of oscillation, there are couple more, redwitch fuzzgod, couple of effector 13 fuzz pedal, some of LAL fuzz pedals etc, some of mid fi electronic gadget and closer to us in our island, goosonique noise therapy etc. There are more, but these what i can remember as of now

Good thing, they can oscillate like mad and interact with many other things/component on guitars/cables/tone, volume knob. Bad thing is, none of it sound similar to each other when not oscillating

As for whether are there any boss/ibanez/digitech/EH fuzz that sound like the fuzzfactory, imho, no. Coz seem like most fuzz capable of oscillating come from individual maker instead of big company.

I cud be wrong thou. Many pardons

i is still liking the sound of the london fuzz if we not talking of oscillation and just good fuzz tone, goose's pixie is goodness too but with a different sound.

hey the fierce website when i enter is just a page with all the words...i dont think there's any thing there,or am i wrong? please help.thanks.

I almost ordered a MJM London, cost 205 plus shipping. Then I happened to chance upon another builder, and opted for that choice instead.

sorry to hijack.

i landed up with a skreddy mayo direct from marc, and never been happier! i'l like to try the london fuzz, both Ge, and Si. lol

The London Germ sounds great, check out the Foxey as well.

Heheh, I opted for the Monsterpiece Two-headed fuzz instead.

You know for the London, you can ask Micheal for the mini-version. Same price, but in a MXR sized case. Nice alternative.

the london fuzz sound like london fuzz and the fuzzfactory sound like fuzzfactory. Get the fuzz you wanna in mind and not another fuzz pedal which sound like another. There are quite a number of different sounding fuzz pedal which doesnt sound like each other but yet they are classified under fuzz.

google on the various brand i mentioned in a few posts above. Most of their pedal it will react with volume/toneknobs on the guitar and make weird sound.

If you are looking for such pedals among boss/ibanez/digitech/EH etc, they dont have it. As i have mentioned, most of it come from individual maker to what i know off, except the discontinued zoom ultra fuzz

i see...so pedals like ibanez/boss dont react with volume/tone knobs? can reccomend any pedal that would react with volume/tone knobs that are below price of 200? thanks in advance

if you are refering to the weird sound. Those come from having a knob on the pedal which can be set accordingly to mess up the range(biasing) of a certain component inside the circuit(in simple term, i aint a techie, pardon me ) .

it was never a good thing/parameter of a pedal until zvex came along with the fuzzfactory in the early/mid 90s..

If you are refering to reacting with volume knob to reduce the gain, thats another different thing.

oh i see..okay i meant the weird sound from tweaking the pedal's knob like what the guy does in the video. My question now is,can i get a pedal that would produce such weird sound when tweaked other than the zvex fuzzfactory. My budget is below 200. please recommend me.thanks in advance.
