Your Own Licks

Can bassists take part? :D

BTW, I really like Whitestrat's playing. Very melodic, but with a slight tinge of technical flair to give the piece balance. I'm listening to your other works in your soundclick!

Thanks... Enjoy the clips, and tell me what you don't like. Heh...

Hi guys, sorry I was away for 3 days, Now I'm back. But really rather sad b'cos a lot of you guys downloaded the backing tracks but none uploaded anything. C'mon ppl shred up. We need to hear more stuff. By doing this you can improve not only your shredding prowess, but also you recording skills (sound, balancing and maybe mixing too). There is lots to gain here.

Yeah bassist can join too! Just tell me which track you wanna jam and i will upload it without the bass track.

Thanks for your ears.

Cheers.

Hey pinkspider cool stuff you got there man! Love the tone and the playing ... Which backing track is this eh and care to share your gear used???

hey there, glad to hear that:)

this is a cool backing track by the thread starter "BT3"

Though i own a pedalboard, but in this song i used my Ibanez RG2550--> sommer cable-->podx3---> M audio 1814 ---> mac book pro (Garageband)

Cheers

hey good work guys. i tot this thread has died, but this just prove that it is still ALIVE and KICKING.

karlie: hey bro really good melody at start of song. Wish I could come up with something like this. Got really good ideas. And some personality there. What interface are you using? Want to hear what you got in mind for the other backing tracks.

pinkspider777: really fusiony there. Great stuff and tone. Really like how you approach the centre part there. And the use of harmonies. Very intuitive. Salute you man. You have some smooth runs as well. Can't wait to hear what you can do with the other backing tracks.

New backing tracks coming up tmr. Meanwhile CHEERS.

tk for your compliment:).

you got some nice groove and chords in the backing track, like it so much. Do you use any loops? or by all key in midi? real instrument?

By the way, i forgot to type the comp setting: thresh-12db, gain2db
