You'll never know what's lurking at your relative's place

Well, I was surfing on some guitar forum when my uncle asked me what was I looking at. Naturally I replied some pedals/gears. Next thing I know, he passed and gifted to me a MIJ Boss DD-2 with blue label. It apparently had been there for like 15 years or more since he found it in his work place. It even had those "old school" 9v energizer inside. Lucky for me, there was no battery leakage. Everything was working perfectly, down to the diode LED. It's really beautiful sounding, not exactly like my Keeley Ibanez AD-9 but definetly not stertile or cold, like typical digital delays. I'm still very surprised with this find.

You'll never know what you'll find at your relative's place. For all you know, there might be a mint 59' Les Paul. :smt003

Well maybe 15 yrs ago. Hope he has an echoczar now. 8)

 echoczar or not, the MIJ DD-2 is surely worth a small fortune

Hey lifehouse, if you're not keeping it, now's a good time to sell, a lot of ppl will be feeling loaded after receiving all their CNY ang bao. Bet you can get a good price for it

Nice score man! :) The DD2 is comparable to the DD3... just that its supposed to sound a touch warmer... very cool, if its mint, hehe, check ebay for estimated pricing... you might be surprised how much that baby will fetch.

Wow ur uncle found it in his workplace? Where does he work? Thats a great find. I am envious :D

My uncle has a Gibson Les Paul Custom which i didn't know he owned until he came over to my place and saw that i was playing the electric. Haha.. too bad he's still using it, but i guess when the time comes.. oh when the time comes.. haha
