Year End Sale (What to look out for?)

Talking about SALE, I think Yamaha Music Plaza used to clear their old products at a discount of 30-40% before new products hit their store.
Citymusic at one time had a big clearance sale and revamp of their shop,
products were sold at rock-bottom price.I bought some Korg modules at a real
good price, too bad I didn't managed to buy any of the Wavestation modules.
As usual annually, the sale is at the end of the year from NOV - DEC. I bought
a KORG SP300 last year, this year maybe will buy the KORG Legacy. Haha !?
can only buy new gear with year-end bonus !? Other time of the year, resort
to used/2nd-hand gear. *sigh*
Swee Lee used to hold big SALE at the Sims Ave warehouse but right
now very rare. And if there's a SALE, normally it's very low profile. I remember
reading ad on the classified ads or newpaper. Nowadays, I believe
the SALE is only entitled to their MPO memebers. Check out their website.

lowjk: Can't remember the price, but it was low enough to get me interested, think it's sub 5. But then i got the bcr2k instead, which is great! Don't really know where there's adult leather shop, but i recall a special shop at peninsular hotel area. The ableton live that comes with it is probably the live delta, like the ones that come with the m-audio gear. If there's an upgrade path from the delta to the full live 4, that'd be a really good buy. Sampletank's probably the free version? Comes with every issue of computer music.
Don't think the reseller agreements work this way. Everyone is free to price it anyway they like subject to their upstream agreement and justify their own margins, since they'll just pay for the shipments upfront anyway.
Really disappointed with the sales. The old equipment simply takes up space and really swee lee should just try to get rid of it asap. I think that bx80 is close to 2 years on that shelf, not counting the date of manufacture.
