I kinda like the sound of the nova pretty much, as compared to the m13.

Anyone knows where to get a good price for it?
Its not easy to find it around here, but Australia seems to be out too.

Found that GT-10 are 750 AUD there &
M13s are 1100 AUDs a pop.

Firstly, it is fully analog pedal but digitally programmable.

The rest like the boss and line6 are digital and definitely lose out to the nova system in terms of tone.

If you will be playing through an amp and mic-ing it up, i think you should go with the nova system.

If you will be plugging directly into the DI box and into the PA system. Then the line6 will work better because line6 models after amps.

But nevertheless, you noe tc electronic stuffs and quality, it will not disappoint you.

Just to correct 1 point for the M13. It has no amp simulation and was designed for use with amplifiers, not so much for PA.

Likewise, I need to clarify a few points.

The Nova is fully digital, except for the drive section, which is analog but digitally programmable.

It also has an internal speaker simulation, which means that you can plug it into a mixer/power amp. The outputs are balanced with a TRS cable.

I think choosing between the two really boils down to a matter of preference. The Nova will not allow you to run a chorus into a tremolo effect, for instance. On the other hand, the M13's slots can be assigned to any effect whatsoever, so you can have 10 delays, for example.

The nova also lacks a wah. So Im thinking of adding a wah to the chain, but that would be difficult, since I can't add an external pedal into the already determined chain.

But the nova sounds (as in when played) a lot better (to me) that the M13, IMAO.

The M13 sounds abit too harsh in terms of sound.
But Nova can't play metal. So both have pros and cons.

Why can't Line 6/Boss put in TC effects?

Guitar>Wah>list of good stuff here>Nova (just for delay) >Amp?

Or... chain 2

Guitar>Wah>Nova(OD/Dist, Noisegate, delay, etc)>Amp?

Would the sound be a bit more controlled for chain 2?

Would it be more recommended to have it in semi-parallel?

Have you tried the vox tonelab LE?

Not to be rude, but tonelabs have that distinctive "artificial" sound that I don't like when I play. Also, the amps that I play on already have tubes, so LE's tube effects won't sound as pretty.
'sides, I would prefer the SE over the LE.
Don't mind if they release an upgraded SE that can use Wah with Dist, cause 2 exp pedals are cool.

Hahahaha!!! You'd never know with city music having so many sales.
I was in Thailand then during their 40th ann back in december.
But I found good deals over there: New GT-10s at $672 SGD
Though I think GT-10s are overrated.
