TO WHOM?!?!

To a guy who e-mailed me saying he don't have the $$$ but would like to try it. I replied c'mon over with your guitar.

I'm down with a bad case of conjunctivitis so stayed home tonight instead of going to church. He showed up at 8pm with his wife and new born baby in tow. Played thru the Goblin for a while, talked about gear, discussed with his wife and they went home with the amp.

I'm actually kinda sad to see the Goblin go :? It's an awesome amp for the $$$. I understand from the guy he spent last weekned shopping for a tube amp and nothing spoke to him till he heard the Gobin tonight. It was love at 1st strum :)

Is the baby cute? hehe I'm happy for them ya know.. the goblin certainly make my cij strat sound like heaven.. lucky guy got the last one..

The baby is 2 months old and he's adorable. Quiet and resting on his mommy's shoulders.

Start saving for the Gries 5 :D

Just sent my strat in this morning for malcom's coveted setup ... btw the Gries is truly a force to be reckoned with.

under malcom's reccomendation i added a base plate for my bridge single coil. I thought the suhr V60LP bridge single coil was pretty beefy already... but the bridge plate really took off that little bit of ice pick..... even when i really dug into the strings - this plus retaining the total tonal integrity of the pickup. twang and everything was still there!

For you guys who wanna add some girth and fatten up the bridge single coil... do try this simple mod. to top it off... its cheeep.

For the price of the Callaham base plate + install vs the resulting improvement.
its a no-brainer.
