It was partly inspired by them (and my mother). The similarity comes especially in the 1st verse - "I grew up not according to your plan, are you regretting it now?"

I think both our lyrics reflects upon the high expectation that most parents have on their kids these day, but sometimes they do not realize the fact that we are not natural-born superhumans :lol: he wrote it for his dad & i wrote mine for my mom..

Thanks for the feedback, really needed that bit of help to improve Fret not, I can always change the lyrics a little haha..

Are there any other parts that we can further improve on??
