the wizard isn't good for wakkawakka clean funk IMO, its a tad too 'dark' sounding. best for high gain stuff though. just in case anyone was wondering, haha.
A little off topic, but just wanted to share... i got a solution if the wah sounds too cutting, I usually a compressor after the wah to "tame" the sound. A Maxon optical comp in this case. This helps to tame the highs so that it dosen't sound too trebly. maybe an EQ pedal after the wah helps too, i guess.
hmm, your thoughts about the Wizard has made me reconsider my decision to mod my wah to RMC 2 specs.....but i tried it at my friend's place, it seemed quite a decent all-rounder, no complaints here.
