Which tube amp do u recomend with this budget?

okay dime.

Firstly they are made in china, the same plant which used to produce the fender frontman amps. Basically comes in 3 sizes, with the largest one being a tube amp, which is pretty damn cheap $3XX ( forgot lol)

really really nice cleans, as you can expect, fender frontman like.
I havent tested it extensively, but i'll do a review tomorrow :D

will get back to you by then.

okayyyyyyy i'll test it out tmr for you, and test it out with whatever pedals i have there too.

i hope i've the time though hahaha

tested extensively for awhile the mega 60 watt tube amp today.

LIKES:
very nice cleans, VERY VERY clear, in the mould of the cleans you'd associate fender amps with.

reverb works like a charm, just the clean channel alone was enough to keep me occupied for really long, with a nice thick bluesy clean tone, to chimey jazz cleans.

tested with the Beta alvin HM-200 and modtone extreme metal, took in pedals really well, notes were well defined, awesome chugga chugga action.
tested with the plextortion, and damn, instant bliss.

DISLIKES:
DAMN loud, knob never goes past 3

the built in distortion sounds pretty damn sterile and digital, not advisable to use this channel.

oh ya its damn cheap. i forgot how much it cost but i think <350

and btw, im not the guy with short brown hair at svguitars, there seems to be a huge mixup.
im the asshole with shoulder length black hair.

So would you recommend this amp for metal, my genre and stuff is kinda like ts.

Hope you didnt write this to promote the amp:)

lame shit, im giving an unbiased POV, listing down my likes and dislikes. furthermore i dont even get any commission.

like i said, you need your own high gain pedals if you intend to use this for metal.

pew, you're on my watchlist.

Aw relax dont get so worked up. I was just kidding:D

Anyway, i wonder how reliable this amp is, wonder if i can stand my "abuse"

^ He already stated he's using the XL series of the VOX which offers the highest gain in VOX amps (I supposed). So which series are you refering to? The ACs???

TS: I'm quite wondering. What do you think is lacking in your current amp?

van_halen: Precisely. The VT series is still hybrid with a circuit that emulates a tube power amp section, no? TS is looking at full tube amps, thus the only series I can think of is the AC series, which are not high gain.

TS: Your current is a a half valve amp. Ok so you want a full tube one? I'd still recommend the Blackstar. Though it's not that high. Really high gains with full tube, hard to find with smaller wattage amps.

^ i wasn't even talking about valve or hybrid. i was just telling you that the XL series has already been superceded by the VT series, with the latter being better at high gain than the former which you said offers the "highest gain". read clearly.

So mega amps it is? kinda looking for a new amp too. but like mega amps no information or anything. $3xx for a 60watt tube something wrong here.
