Alright first off i am looking for a decent tube amp with like around 500 bucks.I am currently using Vox Valvetronix ad30vtxl
I cant get like 50 watts and above as i am using it as a practice and jamming amp only.I am not even cranked up when i am practicing . So yeah , I need a right size and a right tone!
* I play rock and metal (Looking for a good clean tone too) Bands like Slayer, ACDC, Metallica , Kiss, slipknot , Children of bodom etc . Yeah u get the point .
* Using it as a bedroom and jamming(full band jam) amp .
*Budget 500+ or above depends
* Dun mind second hand at all 1:mrgreen:
* I guess it needs to be versatile
* Combo amp. I don't mind cab and head separately but i am nt sure if can even get a full stack at my price.

Above is my criteria , hope it can help u guide me to my ultimate amp!
Thanks

Hey bro don't mind if i do a bit of self-advertising here but do consider the amp im letting go here:

http://soft.com.sg/forum/guitar-amp...race-elliot-velocette-15w-class-tube-amp.html

It has really nice sounding cleans and takes pedals well.

Do go check the thread out and read some of the reviews from harmony central! I'm not just advertising but i really feel it is the right amp for you, a test-drive at my house is more than welcome as well, without any obligations of course.

Hi TS, do look at the Blackstart HT-5. It's 5 watts (it's loud enough) that can give you cleans to marshally to mesa-ish, at least that's what it claims.

Hi bro . Thanks for your offer but its a little off my budget.
Good luck with your sales though

heard of that before too... But i am not sure if it is loud enough when i jam with it?
Depends on your definition of loud. If the location is large, you'll definitely not have enough juice to overpower. But the HT-5 comes with a line out function, so you can connect it to the P.A. system, and let the sound people do the rest.

If you're just jamming with friends and want to be louder than the drums, I would say depends on the size of the cabinet there, but definitely loud.

hmmm... Its a small room of a hdb . Can it overpower the drums? Like give it an estimation?

did a few research and temporary leaning on the Blackstar HT5 . Alot of useful feature and badass sound ... So where can i get one of this blackstar amp ? Saw blackstar products around music theme there but nt sure got ht5 or not. Still looking for more recommendation!

You can find 'em here.

And to answer your qn, small room of HDB, the HT-5 is more than sufficient. Turn it up and I'll bet you have your neighbours knocking on your doors. If you're jamming at your own place without proper sound-proofing, I seriously pity your neighbours...

^that's probably because you don't know your stuff well, hence the incident.

Well ts if you like fender like cleans, do come try it out :D
