Which Guitar should i get? Opinions PLEASE (:

strats don't usually use 2 humbuckers :S in fact it's pretty uncommon to see a H-H strat. even if the pickups are both humbuckers, the type of pickup and wood and other things will have an effect on the sound as well. and no it's not because of the weight, although a semi-hollow will sound different from a les paul and the semi-hollow is way lighter, it's not the weight that makes the diff

I agree, and yeah somehow diff company have thier own recipe so called "Blueprint" for thier products, type of wood might be the same to make the guitars, but which part of the tree they cut to make thier guitars is the thing, i can have lower end guitar made of basswood, and i have another guitar brand slightly more costly which is made of basswood also, they would sound diff eventho both use same pickups and stuff and ultimately made of the same wood!, why? becoz the higher end guitar wood was taken from better part of the tree. Hehe.
