hello guys,

which guitar body?shape do you guys think is god for big movement when playing? like jumping around, lots of visual actions etc etc.

As in terms of comfy, ease of playing etc

Hmm.

Ok lah.. let's be serious... I honestly cracked up when I saw your question... and the term "big movement" is pretty funny to me, so pardon me for the ridiculous suggestion earlier.

Anyways, I'me sure you've seen many people use a wide variety of guitars and still manage to manipulate them in very acrobatic manners. The list includes telecasters, Les pauls, strats (with obvious odage to hendrix), but yeah the SG also has its acrobatic background (think townshend and angus young).

However, if you're seriously considering a guitar that can take a beating... it's suggest a telecaster. No doubt one of the toughest buggers imaginable.

definitely steinberger:

strat... malmsteen can like swing it around his body..
if thats not big movement ..i dunno what is.

personally i think the best guitar for jumping off amps and twirling around in is a squire. so you wont cry when you break it.

second the telecaster. a very tough instrument. have to watch which body woods are used tho, some can be fricking heavy.

either that or the small bodied mustangs.

any guitar would be good lah i guess, just sling it right, and hold it tight. i got a bruise on my hip from jumping too much with a LP. the weight kills man.

strat. get a straplock. I own a swamp ash telecaster, and its abit heavier than a alder strat? and a strat has all those countours to fit nicely on u. Whereas a tele is a heavy squarish piece of wood that is flat, which will slam against ur hips or rips when u swing it about.

Its hardy in the sense that u can drop it and it might not get so badly damaged. and u can slam ur hands against it and Its fine. But not slamming it or swinging it around urself, You'll get hurt.
