getting my pay at end of this month . planning to buy my second electric guitar with budget arnd 500-700. i have narrowed my choices to these modals. Ibanez Rg 321 , SZ350 , SA 260.
Godin guitars any good? i like the natural finish of Godin exit 22, performance series. saw it on display at ranking sports.
preferbly looking for an axe with flyod rose and natural finish. the RG350Dx has chessy looking sharkfin inlays which i hate . I dont seemed to find any ibanez flyod equipped axe with natural finish at this price range . the RGT, RGA preistige are out of bounds to me...........

ok not just ibanez . anything that has fr, fits my budget , and has natural / amber / volin like finish. i dunno why i am obsessed with woody colours ......

saw already. dont have any colours i like. ur standard fat strat copies .
i want something like stained oil finish of sz350

I would suggest an Ibanez RG350DX/EX

Maybe you would like to try out some J&D @ Penin Music Theme as well. They got gre8 affordable & playable FR guitars dere.

All of the guitars you mentioned are good in their own right. Do try all of them though, what's good for one person is bad for the other.

Do try out the Godin in particular. I feel Godin is massively underrated and overlooked most of the time.

I am not particularly... impressed? By the quality of the FRs on the J&Ds.

Do check out the Epiphone Gothic Flying V, or any of the Gothic series with FR. I have seen and tried 2 of such guitars, the FR there is surprisingly stable! Its modelled after the Schaller FR so it has a very small profile. However, if you do decide to get one of those, you MUST TEST IT OUT. Ask for the whammy bar, and ask the Staff to demo a few, yes a FEW, dive bombs. Just to be sure it works. 8)

Anyway, if you can get past the sharkfin inlyas of the RGs, they have a reliable trem, stable too.

Else, 2nd hand.

a brand new rg350 cost around how much ar? 700+? With 700+ i think can get 2nd hand rg450 or 550. I rem one rg550 going on yahoo auction, and gosh its a lo pro

Godin guitars QC is very good. My vocalist plays one, the finishing and everything is pretty flawless. He has the P 90 one. For exit 22, i think it is above ur 500-700 budget and it doesnt have FR as well. But if u plan to pay more and want a fixed bridge instead, the exit 22 will be a good choice.

I'd recommend you a Yamaha Pacifica. The series has plenty of natural finish guitars, non-sharksfin inlay, and some even have a floyd mounted. Check them out.

there's an sz320 at allmusic selling for 500+, same for their rg370dx. G77 used to have a stained wood RG320, but has been snapped up since.

thanks guys. do PM me any such gd second hand guitar deals around.
do u guys recomand the mid range LTD's ? many of them come with flashy flamed maple top finish . But the "AGATHIS" body wood used to make these puts me off . any more guitars i should try ? i saw some china made guitars by the brand flyod rose. cost 600 . heard that all flyod rose guitar modal now all manufatured in china . is it true? i see the neck and fret job not tad fantastic leh. not say is bad, i mean for the same price , ibanez offers better fret job.

Have you tried the guitars that you have mentioned?

Try out the guitars and try to evaluate them based solely on what YOU think first. No point gathering everyone's opinions without trying. It is also easier for others to assess your needs.

+1 to thor.. seriously, this topic has ben discussed over and over again like the topic of whether britney's boobs are real or fake.. in the end, the only way to find out is to try it dude. not ask questions about it..

all the guitars u have listed are all pretty good, but do pick one u feel the most comnfortable with and have the "feel" for.. the feel that u dont want to ever put down the guitar and wanna keep on playing...

but my list of want to try guitars is alot.... so i guess u guys can help me shorthend my list. hiaz... i really want supurb quality cum all guitar tones in one with my low budget. in person, in real life, i am a perfactionsit, i am slight parniod too. last time thinking of seeking profesional medical help .

Godin guitars good. I doubt I will ever sell mine. Their guitars tend to have a Les Paul vibe, if that's what you're after. I think there a floyd rose version of the freeway classic, which is the closest thing to a super-strat (ibanez) they have. Go try them out and compare to Ibanez and tell me what you think... I'd like to know... have only tried the lower-end ibanezes.

Pier.
