yes cow- that's the primary reason why i prefer batteries; being noiseless (or very negligible amt for that matter).
if you are doing alkaline, you would be sustaining the device on sustained, reduced, power. this i dislike as it affects tone. the VINNIC brand is cheap no doubt but it gives Everready a run for the money, i consider Everready to be the industry's standard.
your job doesn't have any relation to vinnic, does it?
thanks for your substantiated info.
i will definitely be heading for some pieces of vinnic myself, and it makes more sense to keep a stock of vinnic when they are at 90 cents per piece.
however, i will be using them solely for my active guitars; but i included pedals in my question just so somebody else may also get something out of this thread.
mustafa is a huge place, so can i shamelessly ask for an approximate location of the vinnic batteries within mustafa?
wow the vinic battery is super cheap!! i bought i think an energizer battery 9 volt last time for 3-5$ in a provision shop...
i guess i will stock on that vinic battery too
