Where to print CDs?

Hey where's a good place to produce CD packages for an EP? Including CD duplication, jewel case and sleeve artwork printing... About a 100 CD run. I have some quotations but they aren't looking that great. My band is based overseas and it actually seems cheaper to produce there which doesn't seem right.

Thanks!

How about in Singapore?

Are there any places that do the same thing?

I also wanna do but not so much, like say about 200 copies?

Cos from what I heard is that there is a requirement of min. 1000 copies then each cd will cost $1, else it would be more ex

Theres a company call Datapulse. But thees a min qty of printing. I've been there for audit & saw their printing process. They print for big companies like Microsoft & Epson to small scale companies.

well pretty much u gotta print a thosuand if u want something like a dollar a piece. its ex to print in such small quantaties. i used www.infodisc.com.sg for my printing. but i had a few issues with the printing though, cause my printing were blacked based. and when printing the light blue over it, it became dark blue n faint. they said if u wan must remove the black underneath the blue in photoshop . and i was liek 8O . anyways, check properly b4 u print ( just my experience ).

I is agrees with teraslasch...

We had major problems with the pressing of B-Quartet's EP The Smitten Bard becuz of the printer, OmniDisc. To be fair, it PROBABLY wasn't their fault but the account executive servicing us was FUBAR. He left/was fired (which we HOPED!) 2 weeks later.

We pressed with Axiom for the For Good! compilation. No complaints. Excellent service. Quite a few of the bands in S'pore pressed with them. Decent. We wish we can find a sponsor this year so that we can do another compilation as well.

Some friends did with Summit. Decent as well...

XLayar, the per unit cost goes up but unless you want 800 coasters, you might even consider to pay $2-3 per disc rather than $1 per disc. It's cheaper in total expenditure anyway...

No, I'm not going to pass any numbers/ contacts here. You can thegreenbook.com the companies' names.

i'd highly recommend Axiom as well...excellent service and they really went the extra mile to make sure our album came out right.
