Where to get mesa amps

Besides the buy and sell section here, where do you guys get your mesa amps from?
I know Bently is the regional distributor, but I hear that some people import them from the states.

hmmm... the mattsmusic doesn't ship to SG... Wildwood I'm not sure... The wildwood doesn't have the single rectifier which I want anyway... I don't really trust ebay when getting expensive stuff... and blackwood stuff is second hand lol... plus bentley does jack up prices like mad according to some price quotes in another thread lol.

^ eBay is fine, they have buyer protection now, look for sellers with high positive feedback and even if the seller is dishonest, you can file a dispute and get your money back.

3 chn Triple Recto. I won the bid for USD$1325 for both mesa head n 4x12 cab. but the shipping for both is totally insane. around USD$1200+ (around 70kg). So i requested for the head only for USD$950 and shipping USD$406 by UPS. everything is around SGD2k for the head only. Imagine i ship the cab too. My God. :???:

Yeah. Dude it's Mesa If it's cheap, everyone can get one too Anyway, It's pretty hard to find a 2nd hand single rectifier. Players go for dual or triple recto. If you wan to invest in it, invest more in a better one. No point going for single recto when u can afford few hundred more just to buy the dual or triple. They all weigh almost the same so shipping wise will be the same. I let you do the math.

The price was quoted by UPS which includes insurance. I don know if vPost provide Insurance. Even if i use vPost, the price of shipping from the seller to vPOSTUSA + vPOST sending me to me will add up almost the same.

That's how you do it, though mine already has a speaker cable attached to the "head" part of the combo, so I'm thinking plugging that into another amp should work lol.

What's the diff between the 3 rectifiers by the way? Is it just the silicon diodes or something like that?
