Where to bring a girl when your on a date?

Before we were married, I used to bring my wife to cemeteries. We will walk and read almost every epitaphs. And no, we didn't go at night. Didn't do that often - too morbid. Did that twice, and it certainly generated a lot of discussions and conversation topics.

Also went to the beach pretty often - to read the same book. And talk about it. Well, the book was about dating and marriage...so lots of things to talk about. These are the more memorable ones. The eating and dining ones - we soon forget them.

After married, our dates are usually nice places to eat and talk (with ambience). Then long walks. And get home to put our kids to sleep. But yes, we still date after having married.

Anyway, I think it's weird to bring your girlfriend to a cemetery. It sounds weird and well, weird. Haha. I'd tried cooking at home too. It's really fun. But for first-timers, please do something easy like frying eggs and sausages. And the cleaning-up part can be a whore.

Yes it's wierd, but it's also one fo the most interesting dates! I said I was going to bring her to somewhere I never brought her before. She was really surprised. But we really enjoyed it and talked about things we never talked about before, things that puts life into perspective. Reading an epitaph on a grave of a 9 year old girl really got us thinking!

We still talk about those times occasionally after we are married... unforgetable!

And there's this thing like mini-theatres, very cosy setting, somtimes screen local work,
got good food and all very intimate setting. Near Haji lane(great 4 shopping).

I wanted to bring her to a metal gig and show my girlfriend what's my world like but in the end I decided not to. Oh well.

Anyway, flying kites with your girlfriend is something you wanna try. But please at least know how to make a kite fly or you'll embarrass yourself! Haha, unless you don't mind.

Oh, if you're patriotic, visit the Ford Factory at Bukit Timah. Read up on Singapore's encounter with the Japanese during WW2. Furthermore, not many people visit that place. It's a learning experience.
