Where should I buy guitars overseas?

Hey everybody... I'm planning on buying a guitar from either Japan or the U.S. From which country should I purchase a guitar? I'm thinking the U.S... Musicians Friend would probably be the cheapest U.S. based online instrument store right?

After factoring your shipping and insurance, the price might actually come out to be the same as a local price discounted. Or better yet, why not check out bluegrasswoods? I think Brendon can get you a better price.

But if you're after MIJ/CIJ, just go to Davis. Saves you the hassle.

about that... i already sent email to most of the guitar distributors like sweetwater, guitar centre and musicians friend but they all the same, the cant ship it internationally.. SAD!

their range is for US and CAN only ( some states they cant ship it but by using air service )

base on gibson website, they refers to sweelee (SG) and none in my home country Indonesia.. i also sent them (swee lee ) email its already 2 weeks and they dont reply it yet...

so my last option is go to singapore and buy it my self..

is there any idea or solutions ? please tell me one
name me some guitar store addresses or their webpage please

i already search swee lee, guitar77, orangeguitar, davisguitars and blackwood so far.. is there anything else that could be my preference...

use VPOST.
But then, shipping guitar from US, will cost you almost $300 due the volume. VPOST charge based on volume or weight, whichever greater

You might find some "Gu Lan" in ishibashi if your're lucky. I recently just bought a used Boss RC20XL in good condition from there. I would say its cheaper.

Shipping a guitar from ishibashi is around 12,000yen + insurance.

What brand epiphone? i would recommend korea its cheap there my friends got there custom epiphones for 400 sgd
