Hee

if u watch guitar virtuoso like Satch or Vai, they spam floyd rose like nobody's business man. the sound is AWESOME@!

i hear ya, last time when i was headbanging and playing my guitar, i almost lost my balance and fell, almost!

as

once i was practising at home and jumping around. (shiok)

then i got dizzy and vomiited.ewww.
luckily my mum wasnt at home, or else she'll scream and nag. haha.

there was once she said i was satan.. lol
reason:i play and headbang and like growling.wth
haha

my advice on floyds, don't take a floyd if you are not keen on it.

it would likely be more of a pain if you end up not liking it.

btw, a floyd is more stable than a fixed bridge. ;)

Hmm

I agree with ShredCow. I kinda took some time to get used to it & now its quite comfy for me to do some simple whammy (tho the string changing is still quite tedious for me).

Seriously man i really recommend the PRS Tremonti SE, if youre into single cuts and not into the classic look, go for teh PRS Tremonti SE, its like a lespaul of the future.

Hmm

Eclipse model from ESP wld be more a more feasible option since the SE model is a lower end of the Tremonti model.

ESP eclipse is very expensive though, like $2k+

but if you're talking about the LTD EC50, than thats more in his budget range

Hmm

Sorrie to digress: if i wanna chg the color of my pickups, what is the best alternatives beside buying a ready painted one?

get coloured bobbins to stick over your current pickups

www.universaljems.com has them

And the Tremonti SE being a lower end model does not in any way represent it as being inferior. It's a fine guitar and great value for its price, considering it lists for less than 1k, superb worksmanship and finishing, the only gripe is that the pickups are less than stellar.

i disagree that its more stable, if you have an inferior floyd, it won't stay in tune even if you bend strings

anw im happy now with a blocked floyd, dropping d is not a problem, juz drop the lo E and everything is set

PRS Tremonti SE:

how much is it?
where can i find it?
anyone has a picture of it?

thanks

When it was still in stock it was about $800. I think it should go for the same as the other SE signatures, $860 to $900 I think.

Davis guitars carry PRS but the shipment for the back in production singlecuts SE won't get to Singapore until at least January next year (I checked with them).
