well basically i was just pissed so i made this thread to kinda vent my anger. i didn't want to flame the guy knowing that he probably made some decent deals. I don't want to be an asshole to just judge someone on one mistake (though i kinda did..) and to the friendly fellow softie who offered me the chip, thanks a lot, however, TYMC already helped me change it for free and it still does not work, so out of goodwill they didn't charge me anything because they couldn't get it fixed. Thanks a lot TYMC. Go to TYMC now. it's a great place.

that is a very good suggestion...but however...u do realise that soft is not an open community...its more of some sort like singapore government system..u pay money..the moderators will cover ur ass for u..look at the blackwood thread some guy posted abt them...it was closed & locked so fast while some threads that are flaming others are still going around unlocked & unchecked...its basically u pay what u get...u dun donate shit..u dun get shit care and concern ard here too..all u need is friends on soft i guess...make more friends...there's this 1 young punk who is gonna get his share soon enough unless he apologizes to me regarding some issues.. for those who are interested in who he is..i will gladly pm u the nick,the Threat PMs he sent me and my replies..his hp number can be found thru a search button
 
I really cant stand the new generation of sellers AND buyers. ive been stood up on a number of occasions from buyers who reserve reserve reserve but cant bloody deal. ive been screwed over with a few purchases over SOFT recently to. from pedals that dont work properly, guitars that are broken in little places i stupidly fail to check. but these buyers dont get back to me after the deal. it was embarrassing when i helped a bro deal an acoustic guitar only to find out there was a major crack i hadnt noticed under the dim light we dealt in. he never got back to me!!... ASSHOLE... i still have tht number. and when we decide to put up that damn bad sellers thread tell me. im all up for it. but my list will be long. bad buyers too... or "buyers' who never buy, my list will be longer. its always been smooth sailing and selling and buying on soft all the way till early this year. then an influx of ill hearted people. i recently had a guy who once ditched me on a deal whom suddenly got in contact with me and apologised. alls forgiven. but there are so so many others its just disgusting. i think SOFT needs a better method of filtering the trash from the rest. ive made many friends on soft, good friends at that, but as off recent, ive met more assholes. i dont get it. everyones so arrogant and full of themselves recently and i dont blame the older more experienced guys for getting nasty or more defensive. but this forum used to be friendly. now every sale pending might not go through. its really starting to suck. lowballers should also be named!!!... man i could go on forever~~~
 
heh, if it wanst the ic chip or any other components, i have an idea

1) learn how to trace circuit

2) Go trace the circuit

3) Clone yourself a tone press

4) I spare you components(breadboard, ics, transistors, pots, resistors, caps, perfboard, jacks, casing to do the pedal) you go do the clone. Yes, only if you are the on doing the clone, i spare you everything.

5) be a happy fella to clone a pedal which works and know that theres nothing wrong with the world, everything is just the basic flaws of human, and that include the bad habit of washing dirty laundary in open forum

Indeed.. As days go by, more and more A**holes join soft, and partake in deals that never happen.. Lowball here lowball there, then don't show up..
Please expose all these fellas.. They deserve it a 110%..

Every single time I'm about to deal for my Deucetone RAT, these people keep saying that the rust is damn damn bad.. And nego last minute one.. A few times already.. Come on lah.. Firstly, it is NOT horrid (you should see my SD-1).. Secondly there's enough pics available for you to make that conclusion BEFORE agreeing on a deal..
 
in my opinion if someone sounds damn steady but can only deal with you 1 week later, chances are he wouldnt deal with you. it gets even more suspicious when he doesnt bargain dont you guys agree?

soft is a good place to sell only because many musicians gather here. however, everyone here has their own freedom of speech. dont want to buy nevermind. acting rightous by claiming that your price is too scary for an item or adding comments like the price should be knocked down cos of this ding here and there. apparently when it comes to buying 2nd hand stuff, a lot of people here tend to be very geh gao. they only do so to save as much as possible for themselves. selfish and nothing better to do are probably the best words to describe them.

all those ive dealt with before know that i do try my best to keep it convenient. and ive sold so many pedals, one or two of them have not worked as it should. but i have taken them back full refund. one was even kind enough to wait awhile and when alls good i immediately returned him the money and took the pedal back. sometimes i understand that maybe seller didnt know it wasnt working properly. but the right steps should be taken to make it an easy place to deal. Melin ay... hmmmmm.... well it would be interestin to hear from him.... we used to have great sellers and buyers threads.. now its all hate. i want the old days back!!!!!
