What pedals do you use?

I own a Shimano pedal.. detachable one.. Heavy duty.. No worry.. Lifetime warranty.. Want distortion?? No problem.. Just scrap the pedal to the ground when turning??

Want a delay?? Easy!!! Knock the pedal against a staircase railing... Sure got echo..

Want a phaser effect?? Aha!! This one damn easy also..

Take any fork and spoon and rake it againt the pedal.. sure got sharp sharp sound with fluctuating octaves and then 5 mins later, ur ear gone already..

But my pedal damn cheap also..

i use absolutely no pedals at all.

just a good guitar thru a good tube amp.

as the saying goes, "tone is all in the fingers."

With the tube amp there, it seems like "tone is how deep your pocket can go" instead.. Haha

true, tube amps are more expensive than pedals, but the tone from the right tube amp is spades above what any pedal can give you.

think of it as an investment for life. one great guitar and amp and you'll never want anything again for the rest of your life.

and the gear doesnt have to be expensive. eg. warmoth, reverend, etc...

of course if you want pedals for effects like trem and phasers, etc, then by all means.

for me personally and the genre i play it detracts from the ability of the player.

its easy to load on lots of distortion, pile on effects and sound "impressive."
its harder to play clean or semi-clean and sound really good as all your mistakes are not covered up by distortion.
