Why I play in a band:
1. I love music and I want to be a part of it
2. I want to be a rockstar
3. I want to have fans & make a difference to their lives
4. I like to perform in front of people- I'm an attention-whore
5. I love my bandmates like brothers
6. I want to spread my thoughts and messages to a large audience
7. I want to make a difference through my actions rather than my words
8. Playing tightly with other musicians is a pleasurable thing
9. I look forward to hearing an audience sing a song I wrote for myself in my bedroom
10. I want to prove wrong the people who think/thought I can't do it
11. I want to make a difference to the local music scene, which I am rather fond of
more reasons i'm sure. I find new ones every day.

at first, the one that keeps me continue playing my guitar is personal hatred towards someone ... that dissed me off saying im not talented at all ...
but 5 years have past ... and now im playing guitar to share to the world my personal feeling that flows through the guitar ...
hehehe, since i have gone this far .. i always have a mindset not to backoff and reach for the highest ... and now ... the think that make me continue my guitar thing is that i want to build up personal style of playing the guitar... hehehe with the lack of theory ... juz striving to get what i wanted.
but 5 years have past ... and now im playing guitar to share to the world my personal feeling that flows through the guitar ...

I'm in a band and I can't even play a instrument.
I am in a rather new band, even though our progress is slow and however lousy we are, i still love playing with the band, its the love/bond in it i guess, and all the fun.

For me too, there's a particular person who just keeps criticising our band and thinks that we're damn lousy and thinks really highly of himself/his band.
But i told myself/my band, we accept all his criticism silently, we improve and prove to him we can make it.
