What keep u continue playing in a band/music

the pleasure and satisfaction of achieving higher level in guitar playing(in terms of theory,technique, etc ...) is orgasmic.

and of course , who can deny the G.A.S factor

so with the above two reasons , it feels really good to be rehearsing/performing with new found gear and guitar profficiency

Well been playing in a band for 1 years now.......Why keep doing it?????Well maybe for me its for the passion of this genre that my band is playing, also to express our thought through music.........haha

im not in a band. but i will one day. the love for music and playing the guitar never die.

as a guitar player, i know i hav what it takes to produce good music. i believe i am capable of contributing great melodies but still i hav never found my dream band for so many years already.

and even after i lost about 2cm of my left little finger last month, never did i think of quitting. i still continue to play the guitar w/o my pinky finger. still not satisfied with my capability...as u all know, w/o your pinky finger u r restricted to your full capability. due to that, im learning to play the guitar lefthanded all by myself.

if its in you, you can never let it go.

When the band meets up one by one in the jamming room, plug in and set up, everyone has a little chat,

*drum sticks*1, 2, 3, 4*

from that point onwards, reality becomes fiction and imagination comes alive, thoughts in your head become alot clearer.

During the jam you smile at your members and give the signal as you reach the bridge where its time for the climaxing solo, whether its guitar, keyboard, drum, bass or sax.

The emotion that come through when a band plays together is not one that is possible describe.

Kidding :lol: Well, I'm just taking my appreciation of music one step further by trying to be part of it. Sometimes, you've reached the point when you wanna get some messages across but you can't be heard in the form of spoken words or through normal activities.

Of course, it'd be good if it can bring me fame, fortune and getting laid
