What gauge do you use?

i use gauge 9 cos it's easier to bend.. haha but my fingers hurt like hell man.. i think i should change to 10 or 11 hmmmm

I use this for the djugga, like pathein, i get the excitements when I see threads about string... its all about the djugga.

Elixirs Baritone or DETH!!!!!

Lol, yo ed! Too much homebrew?

Btw i use 10-46s on strats, 12-52s on tele.

I always used to use 9's before switching to 10's this year, it was difficult to train my fingers to begin with but it is not so much of a problem now. Thinking of trying out 11's as I prefer a heavier sound.

Just curious, does anyone mess with the setting of their guitar when changing gauge or do you leave it alone?

HAHA looks like you ripped off my line which i ripped off from SLASH haha.....

glad you like the feel of 11s! will move to them if my band downtunes....

Hahah, did Slash really say that?
Hmm, but i really feel that thinner strings feel like there's almost nothing on the guitar, hahah, but i guess it might be just me...

anyway, the fat tone is the main reason!

curt mangans 10-46.. very high tension for 10's which i like very much.. bending got more mojo

Yeah, I just tried Curt Mangan strings and I felt the liveliness with my tone... though I think it's a little bit 'hard' so my bridge needs to get re-adjust. Other than that, it rocks! Been using D'addario for more than 10 years now so I know the difference... :-D
