What do you guys think of zakk wylde coming to singapore????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm probably one of the older guys who attended the event.

It all went pretty well until Zakk came on stage and everyone started taking photos. I had to admit that the crew did not handle the situation well. Quite a bit of aggressiveness on their part to get the audience to keep their cameras.

I was quite disappointed that in the midst of their aggressiveness, one of them knocked into my friend (a girl who happened to be attending such an event for the first time) and did not apologize. And mind, we were at the back of the room, away from the main crowd and not blocking the way in and out. I mean, not even a little manners?

With regards to the "meet and greet and get autographs only if you buy specific products" policy, I'd say although it's a chance to push their sales, it marred the overall experience. Especially with priority given to customers who purchased the costlier products.

Zakk was great throughout the event and helped brighten up the mood for the evening (although my friend and I were at the back of the room and couldn't see anything). Hearing and catching him live was certainly an experience. He's both the wild Rock n' Roll monster that we all know him as, and friendly as hell.

Thanks to Gibson Singapore and Swee Lee for bringing Zakk in, but I'm afraid with this experience, I'll not be patronizing the stores as much as I used to...

As someone pointed out, it is their sense of inferiority and insecurity that makes them behave in such over-the-top ways.

Don't hold it against them.
