hi im new here,my maple fretboard feels a little dry, anyway i can "moisten" and clean it?

maple fretboards are finished. Just play them more. Do not use lemon oil on your maple boards.

if i'm not wrong mine is and unfinished neck and fretboard. i'm using a squier cali tele now by the way. so if its really unfinished(or maybe satin? lol..) any way to moisten it? need advise here thanks

linseed oil to add moisture

i don't think any maple boards are unfinished. its probably a satin finish and im not sure if zippo on any finish is a good idea.

i've done up so many guitars with e use of zippo.. its up 2 you coz ultimately i'm juz giving u a choice n its either you take it or leave it.. like all that said. its a forum.

regarding maple fingerboard.. be suprise that those that you think is finished satin is actually unfinished! maple are ok to be left unfinished like rosewood,ebony and many others.. of coz, fenders love to lacquer them up 8)
