razrash : well, you just gotta try your best to be a good parent. and know your reverse psychology against kids well. for e.g : he gets some tribal tattoo to look cool among his friends. I take a photo of it and get the exact same tattoo and stalk him after school to "chill out" with his friends and show off my father-son-bonding-ship tattoo. or wear the matching (dumbass) "cool" clothes that he wears. it's going to be at least a couple of decades after this post but I'm sure "he/she" is going to hate me soooo much ... if you can't "beat" them, "JOIN" them.


'bout the topics on that "LONG COMB" of ahbeng's, i thought it was quite smart. cos i know they use it mainly to 1) comb 2) the sharp tip to dig ear if their last finger nail not long enough 3) they'll sharpen the tip of the holding area and use it as a stabbing weapon.
i like it when people improvise everyday items into multiple usage. because Common Sense... isn't.

wow someone actually mention FIRE DISCO!!!!! WOOOHOOOO those were the times man... theres a movie which my friend is coming out with, its about bengs from the 90s era. i would say its quite good pls go watch it. support local music and also local films!!!!!

Yeah Fire Disco, me and my friends will go down in groups of 20 easily every week, there was once we went down in a Group of 70 persons at least…..There is Karaoke room, we also go to the Tea-Dances…….at that time If I can remember – we also patronize “Rumours at Forum” “ Opposite Forum there is a small building – at Basement called - Passion Disco” and “East-West at Marina Square”, of course “Warehouse & Zouk” we also goes there Oh and yes "a Disco at Amara Disco that time" - - - - There were fights usually at Disco, and so you better be in a Large Group ....Boy I was "Hot" those times.....and I'm sure a Disco Freak, and lead every outing every week. Those were the days, I was single.

Then comes Canto, Sparks Disco, Chinios Chinios, Funky Town so on........(alot of people shake head there)...hahahaha...Then Passion/Ridleys, ROAR, Music UnderGround,Devils Bar etc......and then .... SOS, Madam Wong ect..etc hahaha and such (these are after my marriage days) just too many to name - - - I just love Dancing....finally Thumpers and Centro (which my Bro In-Law was a shareHolder there)..but it close down.

Today Fire Disco is occupied by 97 right?…I went there 2 months ago.

Oh yes, Fire. Super beng place. I still remember the bengs and lians danced to the beat of Modern Talking, CC Catch, Pet Shop Boys, etc. And they really liked the song "Tarzan Boy" a lot.

There was also Tornado, till it got closed down because of drug bust. And once upon a time, Hard Rock Cafe was the hippest (non beng) place to be in town.

Don't know why Ah Lians then were so much prettier and fun to hang out with leh.

nowadays too lazy to go club.
