Whammy Bar Replacement for Edge Trem

My cousin lost my whammy bar when he borrowed my guitar and I'm having a super hard time finding a replacement for it.

I've been through most of the guitar stores in SG and none seem to have stock of it. Any suggestions where I can go to get one or does anyone have one to let go?

Prefer to get one locally rather than online as I can't bear the waiting process..

Ibanez edge, lo-pro edge or edge pro? Just grab a schaller or original floyd rose arm and replace the Edge arm assembly with it. Will work better. easier to obtain too.

Double Edge actually.

Whats the costing of such a "project"? Where to get? Davies?

That's fine - the double Edge is essentially a lo-pro edge with piezos on the saddles.

The key to whether this "mod" will work is in the arm assembly. As long as the arm assembly is like the original Edge's, it will work. As far as I know, all the trems i've listed use the old Edge arm assembly. You might wanna open up the back plate and take a look to be doubly sure.

A brand new schaller floyd arm assembly costs... $20? Davis.

I've seen some ibanez arm assembly parts are Davis but it was years back.

Quick note in case you not aware, but the Ibanez Edge, Lo-pro Edge and Edge Pro all use the same trem arm in case you don't want to mod your guitar (with/without piezo doesn't make a diffrence as shredcow mentioned). Swee Lee should be able to get in for you if they don't have it in stock already, it is definately not a rare difficult to find item, although some patience may be required.

I am actually looking at the new arm I got recently, and the part no on it is "2LE2-1B" if that helps. Or you can just say you want an arm for your JEM, i have seen them labelled sometimes as "trem arm for JEM".

Okie.. Thanks Shredcow, I will consider that option..

I've checked Swee Lee & Davies and sadly both do not have stock. Have asked Swee Lee how long does it take for me to order one and they said will take a few mths.

Worst case is that I just have to get it from ebay or something then. The waiting is tad shorter...
