its not worth to jam at weelee, they use cheapo guitars.

I use my own guitar when i go wee lee so it's not so much of a problem. But yeah, if you wanna use the gear there, don't.

The equipment at Wee Lee Aljunied may not be top notch, but Sam (the owner) is actually a really nice guy. Got quite a few useful tips about band playing, getting the right tones etc from talking to him. He is always willing to share his wealth of experience if you talk nicely
Anyway, not to digress too far from the threadstarter's questions...
Rates are $18/hr. Amps are Roland and Laney.

My band used the 10 dollar and 14 dollar rooms before ... I not drummer so i can't say much bout the drums .. But got big big amp, distortion, scare what?
But seriously though, the bass amp should be higher wattage, even when my friend on full its soft .. but i think its the guitar problem there ...

lol.. sam is the old man or the younger one?? lol..my band went to wee lee some time ago then we nothing do do..then we opened the door for the drinks..lol then the sound came out..then we somehow' opened the door a couple of times.. guess what? the uncle (the younger one) came out n LECTURE us lol..seriously the gears there are mostly TORTURED' so i advise u to bring ur own gear...n dont irritate the younger uncle..he like...dam gay man.. no offence :twisted: :twisted:

used to go wee lee simei a lot, if your band can play tight, then by all means, go for it. The equipment isnt superb, but if u play well, it still can give u a shiok jam session lah...haha...$10 an hour only. The old uncle at simei can be cranky, but its ok, if u jam there often, his behaviour wont irritate u, cos u'd be used to it..lol...
HOWEVER, i think that for $18 an hour at wee lee aljunied, its not worth it, aljunied's equipment isnt much better than simei's one, so go fourtones or beat merchants is a much better choice in my opinion, cos those are $14-$16 an hour only. N the amps are big marshalls, randalls...etc.
