hey everyone, i have try searching this forum for quite sometime but can't find any relevant post about my problems.

Is there anyway to resolve/cure such a problem of my joint?

my left hand's ring finger had some problem in the 1st/top joint.
It seems relatively weak and can't bent at the same time when force is applied.
Resulting in not being able to press the frets well.
pictures are below.

anyone whom had come across this problems can give me some help?

thank you everyone.

oooooo I know what u can do. U bend the string with yur index finger 2 frets away from the fret u want, than rest yur ring finger on the fret u want to get the note. Takes a while to build muscle, esp when u just started. I had the same problem trying to bend 7 notes away from the fret.
Hope this helps.

another problem i notice is.. yur not resting yur thumb on the top of the neck. u prolly want to do that if yur finger has that snapping (as in it hits stiff straight) problem like mine.

thanks a lot!
what a relief. i thought there is some bone problems in my joint as i played basketball last time and get my hands injured all over. =/

I find it strange that you don't have any issues with your nails.

CUT THEM! They're too long to be suitable for guitar-playing.

okok. i will cut it asap. But i wonder how JRockers play guitar with their long and colored fingernails.

Yo Bro, actually, i do think you have a medical problem. Basketball injury is a common cause. It looks like you ruptured a tendon previously without knowing.

If you can take some more photos of your hand, i can help you arrive at a diagnosis.

BTW, this is a measured opinion... I know these things.
